Shanghai Dynasty Mahjong has two levels, regular and a kids version. The kids version is a simplified game perfect for children and first time players.

In Shanghai Dynasty Mahjong when you match two tiles there is a neat little yin and yang graphic displayed.

This is a game with few features, it has the two versions and a restart button. It doesn't play music while you play, but there is a sound for choosing tiles and matching.

Shanghai Dynasty Mahjong does not have a timer. When you finish a board, you simply move on to a new one. The boards don't get harder, they are simply shuffled with new tiles in the same places.
